Overview

Salesforce driven fundraising professional will own donor processing, data integrity, and stewardship at Dog Tag Inc. You will partner with the Chief Development Officer to execute the annual development plan and campaigns, supporting revenue growth across donors, major gifts, and foundations. You’ll manage back-of-house development systems, ensure timely gift acknowledgments, and maintain accurate donor records. This role sits at the intersection of mission, community, and data, enabling Fellows and alumni to scale impact.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and manage donor processing workflows to ensure timely acknowledgments within 48 hours to one week.
  • 2Design and maintain Salesforce donor records, SOPs, and data hygiene to support accurate reporting.
  • 3Pilot fundraising campaigns and annual appeals, including drafting first drafts of content for outreach.
  • 4Conduct prospect research on individual major donors, corporations, and foundations to inform cultivation strategies.
  • 5Create and customize development collateral and pitch decks for donor relationship managers.
  • 6Collaborate with the CDO and CEO to execute the annual development plan and donor stewardship activities.
  • 7Monitor and report on campaign performance and donor engagement across channels.
  • 8Enter and audit donor data, ensuring data integrity and seamless integration with connected systems.
  • 9Generate regular donor reports to inform leadership decisions and action planning.
  • 10Support monthly revenue reconciliations with the accounting team.

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 22–3 years in nonprofit fundraising and/or fundraising systems
  • 3CRM experience required; Salesforce experience strongly preferred
  • 4Experience with CRM software integrations
  • 5Innate interest in fundraising and mission alignment
  • 6Excellent communication skills in both casual and formal settings
  • 7Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities and take initiative
  • 8Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • 9Ability to defend good ideas and adapt to feedback
  • 10Willingness to collaborate across departments and contribute to organizational growth
