Engineering Manager, Product Delivery & Offshore Collaboration
Overview
Engineering Manager leads day-to-day feature delivery and technical operations across platforms at scale. Owns build, production health, and offshore partner coordination with autonomy and accountability. Balances hands-on coding with leadership to raise engineering standards while partnering with CTO and Product. The role emphasizes delivery velocity, reliability, and measurable AI-first productivity gains within a lean, standards-driven environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and drive day-to-day feature delivery from requirements to production, acting as a player-coach
- 2Design sprint plans, remove blockers, and demonstrate progress with demos at sprint close
- 3Own operational health of platforms including uptime, performance, monitoring, and alerting
- 4Lead production support with triage, severity definitions, and root cause follow-through
- 5Manage release management end-to-end with notes, rollback plans, and change control
- 6Maintain integration health with CRM, audit, and work management platforms
- 7Shape and enforce engineering standards for code reviews, testing, and documentation
- 8Mentor engineers and offshore partner teams to raise capability and throughput
- 9Participate in architecture decisions with the CTO, balancing cost and risk
- 10Drive AI-first development adoption and measure productivity gains
Requirements10
- 14+ years of hands-on software engineering experience including current or recent production code
- 2Experience managing a team and delivering features end-to-end from requirements through release and support
- 3Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, APIs, integrations, CI/CD pipelines, and relational data
- 4Experience supporting a production application including debugging live issues under time pressure
- 5Evidence of taking on additional scope such as leading a project or mentoring teammates
- 6Comfort operating with limited management oversight and making day-to-day decisions independently
- 7Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment
- 8Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders
- 9Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10Experience coordinating work with offshore or distributed engineering teams
