Senior Engineering Manager, AI Native Platform
Overview
typescript/node.js and python stack powering backend and AI services for an AI-native requirements platform. You will own delivery end to end, from scoping with customers through ship, measure, and iterate, while staying hands-on with coding. You will manage and grow a team of engineers, establish engineering best practices, and partner with product, design, and our forward deployed engineers to deliver enterprise-grade features.

- 3Review code, make architecture calls, and contribute hands-on when needed
- 4Establish engineering best practices and stay technically hands-on
- 5Collaborate with customers and partners to define requirements and deliver high-impact features
- 6Set direction on how AI shows up in the product, building agentic workflows and LLM-powered features
- 7Work with recruiting to build the team
- 8Partner with head of engineering and cross-functional leaders to deliver at scale
Requirements10
- 18+ years developing production software in cloud environments
- 22+ years managing engineers, preferably in early-stage or low-process environments
- 3Track record shipping software relied on by enterprise customers
- 4Hands-on coder who can contribute technically
- 5Excellent communicator able to give difficult feedback
- 6Experience with LLM-powered or agentic features in production
- 7Nice to have regulated hardware domain background such as aerospace, defense, automotive
- 8Experience with requirements, ALM, PLM, or systems engineering tooling
- 9Experience with architecture decisions and end-to-end ownership
- 10Experience with LLM APIs and orchestration libraries

$260 - $310k per year
