What You'll Do11
- 1Prepare detailed technical drawings for government and institutional facilities
- 2Produce floor plans elevations sections and site layouts complying with specifications
- 3Ensure drawings follow ANSI drafting standards line conventions symbols and notation
- 4Coordinate with engineers architects and designers to incorporate revisions
- 5Utilize CADD software such as AutoCAD MicroStation Revit SolidWorks or Civil 3D
- 6Create 2D and 3D drawings for construction and permitting
- 7Develop as-built drawings record drawings and revisions reflecting construction changes
- 8Maintain organized drawing files layers and documentation for regulatory compliance
- 9Provide monthly and semi-annual status reports
- 10Obtain and maintain Public Trust
- 11Work with automated systems to track and submit work
Requirements5
- 1Associate degree or higher
- 2Six or more years drafting engineering drawings using AutoCAD
- 3Ability to organize work and use automated systems
- 4Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- 5Suitability for Public Trust
