End User Compute Architect, Windows 11 & Intune
Overview
You will architect and lead the global Windows 11 estate for a large enterprise, driving zero-touch provisioning and modern management. You will own the migration from SCCM and Group Policy to an Intune-first model, setting compliance and configuration standards. Working with infrastructure and security teams, you will design scalable endpoint solutions. This role demands deep technical leadership and hands-on deployment across thousands of devices.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement Windows 11 global estate architecture, including compliance profiles and configuration baselines in Intune.
- 2Migrate legacy SCCM (MECM) workloads and Group Policy objects to Intune-first management, ensuring zero disruption.
- 3Build zero-touch provisioning with Windows Autopilot, creating enrollment status configurations and device profiles.
- 4Drive mobile application management (MAM) policies for corporate and BYOD devices using Intune.
- 5Define and enforce security baselines, conditional access, and compliance policies across Windows 11 endpoints.
- 6Collaborate with security and networking teams to integrate endpoint management with Azure AD and Defender.
- 7Lead technical proofs-of-concept for new endpoint features and automation.
- 8Document architectural decisions, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides for global IT teams.
Requirements8
- 18+ years in enterprise endpoint engineering, specializing in Windows 11 and global estate management.
- 2Proficiency with Microsoft Intune for compliance profiles, configuration baselines, and mobile application management.
- 3Proven track record migrating SCCM (MECM) workloads and Group Policy to Intune-first management.
- 4Hands-on experience with Windows Autopilot for zero-touch provisioning and enrollment status configurations.
- 5Strong understanding of Azure AD integration, conditional access, and modern authentication.
- 6Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and policy deployment.
- 7Experience with Defender for Endpoint and security compliance frameworks.
- 8Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
