You will own electrical construction projects from award through closeout, managing costs and forecasts for scopes up to $10M. Based onsite at a semiconductor client in Beaverton, this role places you in a new growth division of a national electrical contractor. You will coordinate field labor, review schedules, and build relationships with owners and general contractors. Your work directly shapes project profitability and safety culture. This position offers a discretionary year-end bonus and 401k match. Expect a project demo in August with major scope rolling out by November.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Manage electrical construction projects from award through final closeout, owning cost, schedule, and performance.
  • 2Track job costs and forecast financial performance to protect project profitability.
  • 3Prepare monthly status reports with percent-complete and cost-to-complete updates.
  • 4Perform detailed electrical take-offs and prepare estimates for new and change work using ConEst.
  • 5Review construction documents to define scope, identify risks, and ensure constructability.
  • 6Coordinate and schedule field labor with field leadership, using Excel and Word for tracking.
  • 7Negotiate scopes, pricing, and contract terms with owners and contractors.
  • 8Support business development by identifying cross-sell opportunities for integrated services.
  • 9Promote an injury-free workplace and enforce a strong safety culture on site.

Requirements9

  • 15+ years of construction project management experience in the regional market.
  • 2Experience with semiconductor or industrial projects is strongly preferred.
  • 3Track record of building successful client and contractor relationships.
  • 4Skilled in reviewing electrical drawings and producing accurate cost estimates.
  • 5Working knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and construction methods.
  • 6Ability to read and draft construction contracts and detailed scope proposals.
  • 7Experience with project scheduling methods and tools.
  • 8Proficiency in Excel and Word; estimating software required, ConEst preferred.
  • 9Experience with large electrical scopes up to $10M.
