- 1Strategic Planning Assist in developing the City`s economic development strategy aligned with community goals
- 2Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities
- 3Identify and engage potential businesses for attraction
- 4Facilitate site selection processes for new and expanding businesses
- 5Maintain inventory of commercial properties for recruitment and marketing
- 6Engage directly with property owners to provide recommendations
- 7Conduct Business Retention and Expansion visits with existing businesses
- 8Oversee project management to ensure timely completion within budget
- 9Coordinate with planning departments to evaluate property redevelopment
- 10Identify funding opportunities and manage grant applications
- 11Develop marketing materials to promote Duncanville as a business-friendly destination
Requirements5
- 1Associate`s Degree in Economic Development or related field with 3 years of experience
- 2Basic understanding of economic development principles
- 3Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database tools like ArcGIS
- 4Ability to analyze economic data and create reports
- 5Strong communication and organizational skills
