As the Community Manager, you will own the daily operations and financial performance of a multi-family property in Dallas, TX, managing a team of 3-5 and driving leasing, marketing, and resident satisfaction. You will report to a Regional Manager and collaborate with maintenance, leasing, and corporate teams to hit revenue targets and uphold company standards. What You'll Do9

  • 1Hire, train, and lead a leasing and maintenance team to hit occupancy and revenue goals in the first 90 days.
  • 2Drive property performance by implementing short and long-term marketing and leasing strategies using Entrata, Yardi, or OneSite.
  • 3Balance monthly financials including budget forecasting, invoicing, and profitability analysis to stay within operating targets.
  • 4Enforce lease agreements through move-in/move-out inspections, collections, evictions, and notifications in line with property policies.
  • 5Deliver client tours and performance updates, ensuring owner satisfaction and transparent communication.
  • 6Resolve resident complaints and service issues, escalating to maintenance as needed while maintaining curb appeal.
  • 7Monitor market and economic trends in the Dallas area, adjusting pricing and incentives to stay competitive.
  • 8Vendor and contractor management, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness while overseeing maintenance requests.
  • 9Champion safety and cleanliness across the property, reporting any equipment issues or incidents promptly.

Requirements10

  • 11-3 years supervisory experience leading a team in a property management or service setting.
  • 21-3 years multi-family property management experience preferred, with a sales and customer service background.
  • 3High School Diploma or GED required; degree in business or related field a plus.
  • 4Proficiency in property management software, with strong skills in Entrata, Yardi, or OneSite.
  • 5Advanced communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to connect with residents, staff, and clients.
  • 6Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management programs.
  • 7Ability to work weekends when scheduled and perform essential functions unaccompanied.
  • 8Valid driver's license and current auto insurance for local travel between properties.
  • 9Physical ability to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 20 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
  • 10Comfort with outdoor elements and occasional exposure to unpleasant weather or landscape conditions.
