What You'll Do9
- 1Design and implement weekly lesson plans using the Creative Curriculum to foster growth
- 2Assemble materials and execute activities to create stimulating learning experiences
- 3Provide daily therapeutic interactions through play and one-on-one engagement
- 4Maintain a safe, orderly, and stimulating classroom environment aligned with House of Ruth standards
- 5Conduct parent conferences and communicate child progress regularly
- 6Support developmental assessments and complete required documentation like GOLD observations
- 7Participate in quality improvement initiatives using CLASS and ITERS tools
- 8Assist with home visits per Early Head Start guidelines
- 9Apply CDA certification and relevant experience to guide practice
Requirements7
- 1CDA in Infants and Toddlers required with 1-2 years experience
- 21 year early childcare experience
- 3Child Development Associate Certification preferred
- 4Ability to work on hands-on floor or table activities
- 5Strong communication skills for parent collaboration
- 6Understanding of therapeutic approaches for emotional support
- 7Commitment to ongoing professional development
