Teacher Assistant HS
Overview
Provide direct care and assist program staff in delivering educational activities for infants toddlers and preschool children. Own daily programming under supervision and develop lesson plans while maintaining a safe environment for children and parents.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assist in planning and implementing daily programming under supervision
- 2Participate in developing daily lesson plans
- 3Support individual children needing special attention
- 4Create and maintain a safe inviting environment for children and parents
- 5Direct classroom activities including group and individual sessions
- 6Prepare and clean classroom materials and spaces
- 7Conduct observations and record attendance meal counts and daily summaries
- 8Perform developmental screenings with program manager
- 9Assist with family service plan development
- 10Maintain records and follow licensing regulations
- 11Supervise students and ensure safety during transitions
Requirements8
- 1Associates in Early Childhood Child Development preferred
- 2CDA credential or enrollment in CDA program
- 3Minimum 12 credit hours in major if currently enrolled
- 4Ability to work with children with disabilities
- 5Strong communication and interaction skills with children
- 6Experience with child development and behavioral interventions
- 7Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- 8Physical ability to lift 30 lbs and stand walk sit

$31 - $46k per year
