Overview
Lead transportation for patients within a behavioral health program environment at scale across inpatient and outpatient services. You will ensure a safe, supportive, and therapeutic experience during rides and coordinate with admissions and counselors. What You'll Do10
- 1Drive patients to appointments per program schedule and patient needs
- 2Maintain positive, professional interactions with patients and manage behavior during transport
- 3Ensure a safe, therapeutic environment during transportation
- 4Document and communicate pertinent patient information to admissions team and counselors
- 5Support teamwork and collaboration within the treatment program
- 6Adhere to all safety policies and state driving regulations
- 7Provide dependable transportation that supports treatment goals
- 8Assist with routine vehicle checks and reporting of maintenance needs
- 9Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
- 10Contribute to a respectful, recovery-focused program culture
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Valid driver's license with fewer than 2 points
- 3Two or more years of experience working with children with disabilities, substance use patients, or mental health patients
- 4Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- 5Ability to maintain professionalism and patience when working with patients
- 6Ability to work effectively as part of a treatment team
- 7Current CPR certification preferred
