Overview

Own a dual role at scale by providing recovery coaching and safe transportation to members in New Freedom programs. You will mentor, advocate, and connect individuals with treatment, employment, and community resources while ensuring safe, on-time transportation. This role blends peer support with hands-on driving in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. What You'll Do10

  • 1Build relationships with members to provide mentorship, advocacy, and recovery coaching
  • 2Transport members safely to appointments, employment activities, and services
  • 3Complete vehicle inspections, mileage logs, and transportation documentation
  • 4Support collaboration with clinical, reentry, transitional services, and case management teams
  • 5Assist in identifying member strengths, goals, and recovery-focused plans
  • 6Maintain vehicles in a safe, clean, and professional condition
  • 7Engage with community resources to support member success
  • 8Document transportation activities and incidents as required
  • 9Support outreach and engagement activities within the community
  • 10Ensure professional boundaries and safety standards are upheld

Requirements10

  • 1Must be 21 years of age or older
  • 2High school diploma or GED
  • 3Behavioral Health Technician designation required
  • 4Peer and Recovery Support Specialist Certification required
  • 5Minimum one year of peer support or related experience (2+ years preferred)
  • 6Valid Arizona drivers license
  • 7Successful annual Motor Vehicle Record clearance
  • 8Strong communication and organizational skills
  • 9Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • 10Experience with transportation in healthcare or behavioral health settings preferred
