Recovery Coach, Behavioral Health & Family Services
Overview
Owns outreach, engagement, and support for families in recovery within the Families FIRST program across multiple Valley locations. Scale includes connections with Department of Child Safety referrals and delivering evidence-based activities to improve daily living skills, transportation, and group facilitation. Work with a team focused on compassion, integrity, and empowerment to help families achieve reunification and self-sufficiency. This role stands out by combining peer support with formal program coordination within a healthcare setting.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build relationships with referral sources and clients to initiate contact within 24 hours
- 2Provide outreach and engagement services and facilitate daily living skills and group sessions using evidence-based approaches
- 3Coordinate care with DCS and other agencies and document progress in required systems
- 4Deliver transportation and in-home services as needed and maintain production metrics
- 5Document progress notes and complete required documentation within licensing and program guidelines
Requirements5
- 1Has completed substance use treatment services and achieved goals such that services have been closed
- 2Minimum of 6 months substance-free after treatment
- 3Paraprofessional training or certification in a substance use disorder or Recovery Coach Program
- 4Arizona driver's license with at least 4 years driving experience and ability to meet driving policy
- 5Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card Level 1 or ability to obtain within 7 working days
