Overview

Own the delivery of peer support services within CHR's center and community settings, serving individuals with mental health and substance use disorders at scale. You will engage participants daily, facilitate one-to-one and group sessions, and collaborate with clinical teams to address individual needs. This role emphasizes leadership, event coordination, and frontline advocacy within a peer-run organization.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build engagement with program participants through daily center and community activities
  • 2Lead one-to-one and group sessions including coaching, mentoring, and advocacy
  • 3Coordinate events and activities to support CHR programming and participant outcomes
  • 4Document services in the Electronic Health Record with accuracy and timeliness
  • 5Collaborate with clinical teams to tailor supports to individual needs
  • 6Public speaking and education to raise awareness and reduce stigma
  • 7Motivate and inspire teams through leadership and reliability
  • 8Maintain high ethical standards and professional boundaries
  • 9Participate in ongoing training and certification to advance responsibilities
  • 10Ensure consistent attendance and contribute to a positive program culture

Requirements10

  • 1Must be 21 years or older
  • 2Must pass drug, TB, and background screen
  • 3Must have ability to type or document services in the EHR
  • 42+ years preferred in behavioral health or peer support roles
  • 5Arizona Credentialed Peer Recovery Support Specialist certification or ability to obtain
  • 6Strong boundaries, ethics, reliability, and ability to manage stress in helping profession
  • 7Ability to work onsite at one location
  • 8Candidates with extended and solid recovery preferred
  • 9Demonstrate self-awareness, coping skills, and ethical work ethic
  • 10Able to engage in daily in-person activities and events at CHR
