Distribution Unit Coordinator, Warehouse Operations
Overview
You will own warehouse department operations at NSK Americas in Indianapolis, directing daily activities to meet customer and corporate standards. Supervise a team of direct reports, coordinate with 3rd party warehouses, and maintain facility and equipment. This role blends hands-on supervision with cross-functional communication to ensure inventory accuracy and on-time delivery. What You'll Do7
- 1Supervise warehouse staff to ensure daily operations meet customer requirements and corporate policy.
- 2Prioritize and direct department activities to fulfill shipping and delivery schedules.
- 3Communicate inventory and delivery issues to other departments in a timely manner.
- 4Maintain housekeeping standards and oversee facility and equipment maintenance.
- 5Coordinate activities at 3rd party warehouses and update internal teams on status.
- 6Direct training for direct reports and keep accurate training records.

Requirements6
- 12-4 years of warehouse or distribution experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 24-6 years of experience preferred with a Technical Diploma or Associate's Degree.
- 3Proven ability to supervise and manage the work of others.
- 4Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- 5Effective communication skills for cross-departmental coordination.
- 6Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse safety standards.
