Dispatcher for Amazon DSP
Overview
As a Dispatcher for our Amazon Delivery Service Partner team, you will own daily delivery operations, coordinating drivers and vehicles to meet Amazon's service levels. You will leverage Amazon Relay and Cortec to monitor routes, coach drivers in real time, and solve issues as they arise. Working with a team of 20+ drivers, you will report to the Operations Manager and collaborate with Amazon's logistics partners. What You'll Do7
- 1Dispatch delivery vehicles daily, assigning routes to meet service deadlines and maximize efficiency.
- 2Use Cortec and Amazon Relay to track driver progress and provide real-time coaching on delivery standards.
- 3Analyze route performance data to identify bottlenecks and adjust dispatch plans within the shift.
- 4Communicate with drivers via Two-Way Radio and Phone to provide instructions, updates, and resolve incidents.
- 5Lead daily pre-shift meetings to align drivers on route changes, safety protocols, and customer expectations.
- 6Maintain accurate logs of dispatch activities, incidents, and driver communications for compliance and reporting.
- 7Collaborate with Amazon operations to handle delivery exceptions, such as weather delays or package issues.
Requirements8
- 12+ years dispatching or coordinating delivery operations, ideally in a DSP environment.
- 2Strong verbal and written communication, with proven ability to coach drivers professionally.
- 3Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and dispatch software like Cortec or Amazon Relay.
- 4Analytical mindset to interpret delivery metrics and make data-driven decisions.
- 5Ability to multitask in a high-pressure setting, managing multiple routes and driver queries simultaneously.
- 6High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
- 7Knowledge of Orlando-area roads and traffic patterns to optimize route assignments.
- 8Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
