Overview
You will own the last-mile delivery experience for an Amazon DSP in Lanham, MD, operating a company-provided van across Maryland. You will become the face of the company, interacting with customers on every stop while maintaining safety and efficiency. What You'll Do7
- 1Load packages into a van at the DLD7 station, following routing and navigation tools to complete deliveries.
- 2Drive a company-provided van safely, obeying traffic laws and delivery schedules across Maryland.
- 3Deliver packages to customers with professionalism, resolving questions and concerns courteously.
- 4Perform pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections, reporting mechanical issues promptly.
- 5Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to safety standards in all weather conditions.
- 6Complete deliveries within the assigned route, meeting daily performance targets.
- 7Communicate effectively with dispatch and team leads regarding delivery updates or issues.
Requirements5
- 121+ years old and authorized to work in the United States.
- 2Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation to work.
- 3Consent to a pre-employment drug test (not testing for marijuana) and background check.
- 4Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation.
- 5Comfortable working in all weather conditions and standing or walking for extended periods.
