DISHWASHER, Full & Part Time at CSU Fullerton Campus
Overview
Own dishwashing operations for a campus dining program serving guests at CSU Fullerton. You will maintain cleanliness of dishes, pots, pans, and prep surfaces in a large-scale food service setting. You will operate or assist with dishwashing equipment and uphold safety and sanitation standards. This role offers full or part time hours, varied shifts, and benefits for eligible associates. What You'll Do9
- 1Build and maintain a sanitary dish area and kitchen workflow to support meal service
- 2Wash dishes, pots, pans, and trays using appropriate procedures and equipment ensuring complete cleanliness
- 3Polish silverware and evaluate sanitation levels to meet safety standards
- 4Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards and ensure safe handling of cleaning agents
- 5Assist with loading and unloading supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- 6Sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing floors and work areas to uphold safety standards
- 7Remove trash and manage waste disposal in designated containers
- 8Transfer supplies between storage and work areas and support kitchen staff as needed
- 9Assist with other duties as assigned to support dining operations
Requirements9
- 1Previous dishwasher and food service experience preferred
- 2Ability to work AM/PM shifts on weekdays and weekends
- 3Open availability preferred and able to adapt to varying days and hours
- 4Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- 5Compliance with safety procedures and sanitation standards
- 6Commitment to a drug-free workplace and background screening as required
- 7Capable of standing for extended periods and performing manual cleaning tasks
- 8Willingness to work in a campus dining environment and follow campus policies
- 9Must be able to maintain a clean and orderly dishwashing area as part of the team
