What You'll Do10
- 1Build and prep high quality items according to standardized recipes and schedules
- 2Design portions, temperatures, and presentation to ensure consistent serving standards
- 3Serve meals or prepare for delivery while maintaining HACCP compliance
- 4Clean and sanitize work areas after service and store excess food safely
- 5Maintain records of area activities and assist in ordering and receiving of supplies
- 6Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance needs
- 7Assist in production planning, safety meetings, and right sizing of output
- 8Monitor food safety standards and keep refrigerators and storerooms organized
- 9Collaborate with coworkers, administrators, and managers to ensure smooth service
- 10Follow safety policies and contribute to a clean, safe work environment
Requirements5
- 1Previous cook, prep cook, kitchen safety, high volume production experience required
- 2Ability to work full or part-time with open availability, including weekends
- 3Willingness to comply with institutional policies including PPE and safe handling procedures
- 4Experience with standard recipes, portion control, and temperature guidelines
- 5Capable of standing for long periods and performing physically demanding tasks
