Overview

Lead Coldspring's Landscape Products business across the Midwest, owning strategic growth and profitability for the region. Report to executive leadership and collaborate with Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Supply Chain to expand market share. Drive revenue through distributor and dealer networks, architects, contractors, and municipalities. Travel 50-70% across MN, WI, MI, IA, NE, ND, and SD. This role shapes product strategy and market expansion in a mature stone industry.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Develop the long-term strategic vision for the Midwest Landscape Products Division, aligning with corporate objectives.
  • 2Create annual operating plans, sales strategies, and budgets to meet revenue and profitability targets.
  • 3Identify emerging market trends and customer needs to drive sustainable growth.
  • 4Lead all Midwest landscape sales activities to achieve revenue, market share, and margin goals.
  • 5Build sales strategies for distributors, dealers, designers, contractors, architects, municipalities, and residential customers.
  • 6Establish annual sales goals, pricing strategies, and performance metrics, monitoring progress and adjusting tactics.
  • 7Drive specification development and project acquisition in targeted Midwest markets.
  • 8Develop new business through strategic partnerships and represent Coldspring at trade shows and industry events.
  • 9Collaborate with Product Management and Inside Sales to define new product offerings and pricing.
  • 10Analyze business performance using KPIs and implement action plans to improve results.

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • 23+ years of industry-related experience in landscape or building materials.
  • 3Proven success in driving revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
  • 4Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • 5Deep understanding of distribution channels, dealer development, and commercial project sales.
  • 6Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics for pipeline management and forecasting.
  • 7Analytical skills to interpret market data and financial performance metrics.
  • 8Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business intelligence tools.
  • 9Leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • 10Strategic planning, financial management, budgeting, and forecasting experience.
