Overview
Lead the engineering vision and execution for UiPath's Automation Hub, a foundational product helping enterprises scale automation with AI-powered capabilities. You'll own a frontend-focused team of exceptional engineers, partnering with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to define the platform's future. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with strategic influence, keeping you close to architecture, prototypes, and customer feedback. What You'll Do8
- 1Own the engineering vision and execution for Automation Hub, balancing long-term architecture with rapid product delivery.
- 2Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to define the platform's strategic direction.
- 3Influence roadmap discussions, challenge assumptions, and prototype ideas to deliver thoughtful, high-quality user experiences.
- 4Provide technical leadership through sound engineering judgment, architectural guidance, and mentorship, reviewing designs and unblocking difficult challenges.
- 5Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering organization, fostering a culture of ownership and technical excellence.
- 6Lead the adoption of AI-powered development tools to improve engineering velocity, product quality, and experimentation.
- 7Champion engineering craftsmanship by building intuitive, performant, and accessible products with attention to detail.
- 8Partner directly with customers and internal stakeholders to understand real-world problems and inform engineering priorities.
Requirements9
- 110+ years of professional software engineering experience building large-scale SaaS products.
- 2Experience leading engineering teams while maintaining strong technical credibility.
- 3Proven experience delivering complex software products from concept through production.
- 4Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, component architectures, state management, and modern web application development.
- 5Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native development.
- 6Demonstrated ability to influence product strategy through technical leadership.
- 7Experience hiring, mentoring, and growing high-performing engineering teams.
- 8Excellent communication and collaboration skills with Engineering, Product, Design, and executive stakeholders.
- 9Curiosity and practical experience using AI to accelerate software development and improve engineering workflows.
Salary Insight
$255 - $310k per year
