Direct Support Professional, Neurological Rehabilitation & Residential Care
Overview
Own the delivery of daily living support and rehabilitation services in a residential setting for adults with brain injury at scale. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and supervise daily living tasks, therapies, and recreational activities to promote client independence
- 2Drive client transportation to appointments and activities ensuring safety and reliability
- 3Assist with personal care and hygiene while maintaining dignity and privacy
- 4Support rehabilitation goals through structured activities and program adherence
- 5Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to tailor care plans and track progress
- 6Document observations and report changes in client condition in a timely manner
- 7Foster a respectful, safe, and supportive residential environment
- 8Engage families and guardians to align on care plans and progress
- 9Monitor and mitigate behavioral challenges with compassionate strategies
- 10Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and safety protocols
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 2Must be at least 18 years old
- 3Valid driver's license with responsible driving history
- 4Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- 5Experience or comfort working with medically complex and behaviorally challenged clients
- 6Strong communication and teamwork skills
