As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will own the daily independence of individuals with disabilities, guiding them through community participation, health and wellness, household management, and adaptive skills. You will work 1-on-1 with clients in the Minneapolis area, collaborating with a person-centered team at Cascade Health Services. You will provide direct support and skill-building to 7,000+ individuals with disabilities, behavioral health challenges, and sensory differences, including those who are Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing. You will work Wednesday - Saturday, 10pm - 8am overnight shifts, implementing person-centered plans that enhance independence and community access. Your team includes nurses, case managers, and fellow DSPs, with training in crisis intervention and medication administration provided.
