Overview
You will own IT equipment deployment and logistics for a global tech client, managing daily operations from intake to disposal. You'll handle Windows, macOS, and mobile devices, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure timely delivery. Your work keeps end-user technology running smoothly and supports onboarding, offboarding, and refreshes. This role stands out with hands-on experience in a high-volume environment.
What You'll Do11
- 1Deploy Windows and macOS desktops, laptops, monitors, and mobile devices for new hires and office moves.
- 2Provision devices with standard images and configurations using Microsoft Intune or JAMF within the first 90 days.
- 3Maintain asset traceability in ServiceNow or AssetDB by logging every device movement and status change.
- 4Receive and process inbound hardware shipments, verifying packing lists and updating inventory records.
- 5Perform cycle counts to reconcile physical stock with system data, correcting discrepancies immediately.
- 6Restock IT cabinets, lockers, and vending machines to ensure readiness for incoming employee requests.
- 7Support e-waste processing and donation requests, following R2 or e-Stewards guidelines for safe disposal.
- 8Collect equipment from employees during offboarding and refreshes, wiping data to NIST 800-88 standards.
- 9Monitor and manage ticket queues in ServiceNow, closing requests within agreed service levels.
- 10Coordinate with logistics teams to meet deadlines for orientation events and project rollouts.
- 11Maintain clean, audit-ready work areas and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements10
- 11+ years in logistics, warehousing, or IT support (preferred, not required).
- 2Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace for documentation and communication.
- 3Familiarity with inventory management systems like RF-SMART or Manhattan is a plus.
- 4Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accurate records.
- 5Effective time management in a fast-paced operational environment.
- 6Strong verbal and written communication skills for team coordination and user interactions.
- 7Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- 8Professional, customer-focused attitude when delivering end-user support.
- 9Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs for equipment setup and staging.
- 10Experience with pallet jack or forklift is a plus (training available).
