Deskside Technician - End User Computing Support in SF
Overview
You will own onsite end user computing support for a corporate campus in South San Francisco, serving authorized users with Windows 10/11 break/fix, mobile device repair, and VIP assistance. You'll resolve incidents within SLAs, configure printers and network access, and ensure smooth equipment operations. This role stands out with its mix of hardware, imaging, and network connectivity duties, backed by A+ Certification.
What You'll Do9
- 1Provide onsite technical support to users, resolving incidents and problems with EUC equipment within SLAs.
- 2Troubleshoot and fix software and hardware issues on Windows 10/11 desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- 3Install, upgrade, and repair desktops, laptops, monitors, and associated peripherals, including mobile devices.
- 4Support network connectivity, including LAN/WAN access, IP addressing, and printer/scanner configuration.
- 5Configure and support mobile computing platforms and VIP equipment, including video systems and docking stations.
- 6Create, change, and remove printer queues and configurations, ensuring network printer connectivity.
- 7Use problem management databases to track incidents and communicate technical details to users and teams.
- 8Provide warranty and break/fix support for networked printers and scanners.
- 9Ensure data backup and recovery options are configured and monitored for end user systems.
Requirements7
- 13+ years of related work experience in deskside or end user computing support.
- 2Working knowledge of imaging tools like SCCM and MDT.
- 3Experience with data backup and recovery tools.
- 4Proven ability to install, upgrade, and migrate to Windows 10/11 in enterprise environments.
- 5Skill in configuring hardware, applications, and network connectivity.
- 6Experience configuring mobile computing and monitoring systems.
- 7A+ Certification required.
Salary Insight
