Overview
You will own patient hygiene care at Market Walk Dental Care in Parrish, Florida, delivering preventive services and building lasting relationships. What You'll Do8
- 1Build trust with patients by explaining oral health and preventive care plans.
- 2Deliver hygiene treatments including scaling, root planing, and polishing using Velscope and Diagnodent.
- 3Capture digital x-rays and scans, documenting patient histories in electronic medical records.
- 4Educate patients on daily oral hygiene routines and the link between oral and systemic health.
- 5Collaborate with doctors to tailor care plans and address periodontal concerns.
- 6Drive patient recall and retention by scheduling follow-up visits and maintaining records.
- 7Mentor new hygiene team members on digital imaging protocols and patient communication.
- 8Manage your appointment flow to maximize patient care quality each day.
Requirements8
- 1Current Florida Dental Hygienist license or ability to obtain before start.
- 22+ years of clinical hygiene experience preferred.
- 3Proficiency with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital x-rays, and electronic medical records.
- 4CPR Certification required.
- 5Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene where required.
- 6Strong verbal communication and patient education skills.
- 7Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
- 8Willingness to attend virtual training sessions periodically.
