Overview
As a Dental Hygienist you will work with a 15 person team to deliver patient focused care at a brand new practice in Blaine MN. You will join a support network including a Hygiene mentor program ongoing CE and access to mentors across Heartland Dental. You will be part of a collaborative community with opportunities to grow clinically and professionally.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build patient trust through comprehensive dental hygiene care
- 2Lead preventive treatments and patient education to improve oral health outcomes
- 3Collaborate with doctors and dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow during shifts
- 4Document medical histories and treatment plans with accuracy
- 5Maintain infection control and sterilization standards across the clinic
- 6Utilize digital tools such as digital x-rays and scanners to enhance diagnoses
- 7Participate in ongoing training and virtual or in-person sessions
- 8Assist in lab and clinical workflows to support team efficiency
- 9Contribute to a positive, collaborative practice culture
- 10Adhere to regulatory and Heartland Dental standards to ensure patient safety
Requirements10
- 1Current MN dental hygienist license and associated degree
- 2Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene
- 3Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and hygiene procedures
- 4CPR Certification
- 5Experience with Velscope Diagnodent digital scanners digital x-rays and EMR systems preferred
- 6New graduate acceptable with desire to grow clinical skills
- 7Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
- 8Availability for virtual or in-person training sessions periodically
- 9TB test requirement prior to starting employment
- 10Commitment to ongoing professional development and patient education
