Dental Assistant, General Practice & CEREC
Overview
Own chairside support for a busy Salt Lake City dental practice seeing 20+ patients daily. You will prep rooms, take digital X-rays, and assist with CEREC restorations, implants, and oral surgery. Join a close-knit team of 4 dentists and 6 assistants known for treating patients like family. This role offers no nights and no weekends with full benefits including 401K match and paid time off.
What You'll Do8
- 1Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for general practice procedures
- 2Assist dentists chairside during oral surgery, cosmetic cases, and implant placements
- 3Capture digital X-rays and intraoral scans for CEREC same-day crowns
- 4Build rapport with patients, ensuring they feel welcome and informed throughout their visit
- 5Manage patient flow to keep schedule on time and minimize wait
- 6Coordinate with front desk on treatment plans and follow-up appointments
- 7Monitor inventory and order dental supplies to avoid shortages
- 8Support team with patient education on post-op care and oral hygiene
Requirements7
- 11+ year of dental assisting experience in a clinical setting
- 2Certification in radiography and CPR
- 3Proficiency with digital X-rays and CEREC software
- 4Experience assisting with implants, oral surgery, and cosmetic dentistry
- 5Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- 6Excellent communication and patient rapport building
- 7Ability to work 32-38 hours per week, Monday through Thursday
Salary Insight
$42 - $54k per year
