What You'll Do10
- 1Set up, clean, and turn over treatment rooms efficiently each day
- 2Take accurate digital radiographs for diagnostics
- 3Assist with restorative procedures including crowns, bridges, root canals, and extractions
- 4Perform intraoral scanning using the practice's digital workflow
- 5Fabricate well-fitting temporary crowns for patient comfort
- 6Assist with insertion and cementation of permanent crowns
- 7Pack retraction cord and place sectional matrix systems for composite restorations
- 8Follow strict sterilization and infection control protocols
- 9Maintain organized treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies
- 10Accurately enter clinical notes and provide postoperative instructions
Requirements10
- 11+ year of dental assisting experience preferred, but not required
- 2Proficiency in taking digital radiographs strongly preferred
- 3Experience with intraoral scanning preferred
- 4Experience fabricating temporary crowns preferred
- 5Experience assisting with permanent crown insertion and cementation preferred
- 6Experience with retraction cord and sectional matrix systems preferred
- 7Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing patient care
- 8Dependable, punctual, and organized with a positive attitude
- 9Current Washington dental assisting credentials and certifications
- 10Experience with Open Dental is helpful but not required
