What You'll Do9

  • 1Lead and coordinate the dental assisting team, setting daily priorities and managing coverage.
  • 2Assist doctors with general, implant, and full-arch procedures, including All-on-X and bone grafting.
  • 3Maintain high standards for clinical care, sterilization, and infection control, ensuring compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines.
  • 4Train, coach, and mentor dental assistants, fostering skill development and accountability.
  • 5Onboard new team members, ensuring smooth integration into clinical workflows.
  • 6Prepare operatories, instruments, surgical setups, and materials for each procedure, including Cerec restorations.
  • 7Identify workflow problems and take ownership of solutions, communicating directly with doctors, hygienists, and front office.
  • 8Sustain a smooth schedule and positive patient experience, addressing issues professionally.
  • 9Provide leadership and accountability while maintaining a collaborative team environment.

Requirements10

  • 15+ years of experience as a dental assistant in general dentistry and advanced implant procedures.
  • 2Current dental assistant license or certification in the state of Texas.
  • 3Proficiency with Cerec for crowns and bridges, and experience with digital dentistry technology.
  • 4Hands-on experience with implant placement and restoration support, including advanced surgical procedures.
  • 5Ability to perform phlebotomy and manage surgical setups with precision.
  • 6Strong knowledge of sterilization protocols and infection control standards.
  • 7Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team without micromanaging.
  • 8Excellent communication skills and comfort giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  • 9High level of organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • 10Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
