Culinary Assistant Server, Senior Living & Food Service
Overview
Culinary Assistants/Servers at Arbor Oaks support dining services for residents across assisted living, independent living, and memory care at a Lifespark community. You will help prepare, distribute, and stock meals and snacks for residents, families, and staff. This role works part time morning or evening shifts with every other weekend rotation, onsite in Minneapolis MN.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and set up room trays and dining room tables for service
- 2Serve and bus trays, pour beverages, and assist in preparing food
- 3Transport carts and deliver trays to dining areas as applicable
- 4Deliver nourishments and snacks to residents
- 5Maintain a steady work pace to ensure a clean supply of utensils and dishes
- 6Soak scrub scrape and wash soiled dishes
- 7Assist in providing a warm welcoming dining experience for residents and families
- 8Support food preparation and service in coordination with culinary team
- 9Maintain food safety and sanitation standards during service
- 10Collaborate with team to promote resident well being through meals
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2Experience in a senior living setting preferred
- 3Ability to relate professionally and cooperatively with residents families and staff
- 4Advanced computer skills
- 5Must be able to relate professionally with residents and families
- 6Willingness to work part time AM or PM shifts with every other weekend rotation
- 7Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- 8Onsite availability in Minneapolis MN
- 9Must pass background check and health screenings
