Coordinator, Human Resources, Nonprofit & Denver Office
Overview
Human Resources coordinator with a focus on onboarding offboarding records and HRIS maintenance will support a broad range of admin duties for a nonprofit. You will help maintain accurate employee records manage inquiries and assist with payroll related tasks. This role offers hybrid in-office and remote work three days on site and two days remote and contributes to a culture of belonging across the team. You will work with Paycom HRIS and benefits data to support HR operations.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data in Paycom and support standard reports
- 2Coordinate onboarding and offboarding including documentation meetings and new hire activities
- 3Support recruitment by posting positions screening applications coordinating interviews and candidate communications
- 4Manage leave accommodation workers' comp and employee related processes and escalate when needed
- 5Assist with payroll processing annual 401(k) audits and ongoing HR projects
- 6Maintain department files retention and confidentiality and coordinate offsite storage
- 7Assist with HR compliance activities audits and required documentation under HR leadership
- 8Monitor HR inbox respond to routine inquiries and support department communications
- 9Support employee engagement goals including performance management and lifecycle activities
- 10Assist with maintenance of SOPs and department procedures
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma GED or business certificate required
- 2Associate degree in Business Administration Human Resources or related field preferred
- 31-2 years of administrative customer service or HR experience preferred
- 4PHR SHRM-CP or similar HR certification a plus
- 5Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 6Strong organizational skills attention to detail and time management
- 7Ability to interpret laws guidelines regulations and policies and apply them appropriately
- 8Experience with Office 365 and HRIS systems strong data integrity focus
- 9Paycom and ApplicantPro experience a plus
- 10Commitment to confidentiality and sound judgment with sensitive information
