Overview
You will prepare and serve high-quality food items at United Club in Washington Dulles Airport, ensuring proper portioning, presentation, and safety at a $23.50/hour rate. Join a team of 40+ culinary professionals and support staff in a high-volume kitchen. You will work with standardized recipes and HACCP standards to maintain food safety. This role offers free meals, uniforms, and laundering service at select locations.
What You'll Do10
- 1Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
- 2Serve meals or prepare for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and attractive and tasty.
- 3Taste all prepared food items to ensure quality and consistency.
- 4Clean kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- 5Store or discard excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
- 6Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed, including ovens, fryers, and slicers.
- 7Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required.
- 8Assist in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
- 9Report needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
- 10Attend in-service and safety meetings and maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.

- 2Open availability for full-time schedule; hours and days may vary
- 3Ability to follow HACCP standards for food safety
- 4Proficiency in using kitchen equipment: knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins, slicers, ovens, fryers, and steamers
- 5Willingness to wear cut gloves, oven mitts, fryer gloves, and steamer gloves as required
- 6Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment
- 7Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- 8Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting
