What You'll Do9
- 1Prepare food items according to standardized recipes and production schedules.
- 2Serve meals with correct portioning and at proper temperatures.
- 3Taste all prepared items to ensure quality and flavor.
- 4Clean kitchen equipment and work areas after each shift.
- 5Store and discard excess food following safe food-handling procedures.
- 6Maintain clean and organized refrigerators and storerooms.
- 7Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, and slicers.
- 8Assist in production planning and record keeping.
- 9Document food temperatures and follow HACCP guidelines.
Requirements5
- 11+ years of cooking experience in a commercial kitchen.
- 2Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- 3Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- 4Willingness to work rotating weekends.
- 5Must pass a background check and drug test.
