Overview
The role involves leading analysis of construction defect claims for a fully remote position. You will own case strategy development and collaborate with a small team to support attorneys and experts. This is not a clerical role but requires deep expertise in litigation support and construction documentation.
What You'll Do8
- 1Triage incoming construction litigation case files and organize large electronic document sets ranging from hundreds to hundreds of thousands of documents
- 2Identify missing documents such as bates stamped ranges contracts invoices change orders subcontractor agreements and related construction records
- 3Prepare and maintain case summary matrices capturing key facts client scope of work timelines participants and developing case issues
- 4Build chronological event timelines focusing on defect origin party involvement project history and client exposure
- 5Track general contractors subcontractors architects engineers testifying experts and other case participants while documenting each party's role
- 6Read annotate and summarize depositions and legal documents to identify issues related to construction claims and client exposure
- 7Direct hire compensation range $70,000 to $100,000 per year with benefits including major medical dental vision and 401k
- 8Use Asana for task management and communication while collaborating closely with a Coordinator and Lead Expert
Requirements7
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons managing complex litigation projects
- 3Certification in AWS Certified relevant to cloud infrastructure
- 4Experience with Kubernetes for scalable solutions
- 5Knowledge of React for modern web interfaces
- 6Background in paralegal work contract administration estimating project controls
- 7Expertise in construction documentation litigation support
