Overview
We seek a Contract Litigation Attorney specializing in real estate affordable housing land use construction and public entity disputes. You will manage cases from inception to resolution including drafting pleadings motions and legal memos while handling discovery deposition conduct and trial preparation. This remote contract role offers significant client interaction and exposure to complex litigation across San Diego County.

- 1Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution
- 2Draft pleadings motions oppositions and legal memoranda
- 3Conduct legal research and case analysis
- 4Manage all phases of discovery
- 5Conduct and defend depositions
- 6Prepare and argue motions in state and federal court
- 7Participate in mediation and settlement efforts
- 8Assist with bench and jury trial preparation
- 9Maintain client communication and reporting
- 10Meet court deadlines and case management requirements
Requirements8
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 22–5 years of civil litigation experience
- 3Strong writing research and analytical skills
- 4Oral advocacy experience preferred
- 5Background in real estate housing land use construction or public entity matters
- 6Remote work environment
- 7Significant client contact
- 8Target annual billables of 1,800–2,000 hours
