Business Litigation Associate
Overview
We seek a thoughtful and ambitious Litigation Associate to join our growing firm. We desire lawyers who thrive without micromanagement and enjoy diverse work ranging from complex federal litigation to smaller collection matters. Ideal candidates will collaborate on large cases while managing their own smaller ones. Core values include courage, candor, and persistence. Located in Orlando FL hybrid remote.
What You'll Do7
- 1Manage diverse commercial dispute caseload from inception to trial or settlement
- 2Draft complex pleadings motions to dismiss summary judgment appellate briefs
- 3Formulate discovery plans execute discovery requests manage e-discovery large-scale
- 4Conduct and defend depositions of fact and expert witnesses
- 5Appear regularly in state and federal courts for status conferences motions hearings oral arguments second chair trials arbitration
- 6Act as primary client contact provide risk assessments legal strategies case updates
- 7Lead high-stakes litigation while developing personal book of business
Requirements11
- 1Minimum 3 to 4 years litigation experience
- 25+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 33-5 seasons leading complex litigation teams
- 4Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- 5Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- 6Proven track record of successful case outcomes
- 7Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- 8Commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality
- 9Experience with legal research databases and document management systems
- 10Familiarity with procedural rules in both state and federal courts
- 11Dedication to continuous professional development
