Concrete Finisher, Site Construction & Hands-on Crew Lead
Overview
Ship and execute concrete finishing on sidewalks, curbs, slabs, and pads for projects across DC area with a focus on quality finish and safety. You will join a field team, collaborate with foremen, and contribute to year-round work with growth opportunities. This is a hands-on role requiring physical work outdoors, with potential travel to future sites.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build and finish concrete to project specs for sidewalks, curbs, slabs, and pads
- 2Prepare, install, and remove forms and read grade stakes for basic layout
- 3Screed, float, trowel, edge, and finish concrete using hand tools and power equipment
- 4Apply curing materials and sealers as required to meet quality standards
- 5Inspect finished work and coordinate with crew to keep projects moving efficiently
- 6Maintain organized and safe work area and follow safety protocols
- 7Collaborate with foremen and crew to meet schedule and quality goals
Requirements5
- 12+ years of hands-on concrete finishing experience
- 2Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques, tools, and equipment
- 3Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding outdoor work
- 4Reliable transportation to job locations and strong attendance
- 5Able to work in varying weather conditions and follow instructions
Salary Insight
