You will own concrete placement and finishing across residential, commercial, and industrial job sites in Austin and surrounding areas. 4+ years of proven experience in flatwork, including sidewalks, driveways, and foundations, defines your skill set. What You'll Do10
- 1Prepare, place, level, and finish concrete using hand and power tools to meet project specifications.
- 2Smooth and finish surfaces with floats, trowels, and edging tools to achieve specified textures.
- 3Check elevations and slopes using laser levels and measuring equipment to ensure accuracy.
- 4Set forms, verify grades, and ensure proper concrete placement per blueprints.
- 5Apply curing compounds and protect finished concrete to ensure durability.
- 6Repair and patch damaged concrete to restore structural integrity and appearance.
- 7Read blueprints and follow project specifications to guide daily tasks.
- 8Operate and maintain concrete finishing equipment to ensure peak performance.
- 9Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to OSHA guidelines and company policies.
- 10Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule.
Requirements7
- 14+ years of concrete finishing experience.
- 2Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing techniques, and curing methods.
- 3Ability to read construction drawings and use measuring tools.
- 4Experience with sidewalks, driveways, foundations, slabs, curbs, and flatwork preferred.
- 5Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
- 6Must have OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- 7Must pass background check and drug test.
