Community Manager, Multifamily Property Management
Overview
Own community operations at a one-property site with a people-first approach and a focus on resident satisfaction. Lead staff, manage budgets, and drive occupancy and revenue goals through data-informed decisions. Collaborate with maintenance, marketing, and HR to deliver exceptional living experiences and strong owner relations. This role combines leadership, operations, and client management in a hands-on, on-site environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead property staff through interviews onboarding training and performance reviews
- 2Drive team to meet performance indicators and address underperformance in collaboration with HR
- 3Conduct ongoing training on leasing paperwork safety and daily operations
- 4Motivate associates through recognition programs and team-building activities
- 5Assist in budget preparation and maintain variance within +/-10%
- 6Complete month-end and year-end financial reporting and provide variance analysis
- 7Promote resident satisfaction respond to issues and resolve service requests promptly
- 8Collaborate with maintenance to ensure timely service and quality of work
- 9Provide updates to property owners and maintain positive working relationships
- 10Follow eviction procedures and represent property in court as needed
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years relevant experience or a combination
- 23+ years of related multi-family property management experience
- 3Strong leadership and communication skills
- 4Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
- 5On-site availability with flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
