Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer II, Hybrid & Phoenix Market
Overview
Own and grow a commercial real estate lending portfolio at scale within a mid sized credit union. You will independently manage complex CRE relationships from origination to servicing with strong risk management. This role blends lending expertise with business development to deepen member relationships and expand cross sell across deposits, treasury, and residential lending. You will work with a collaborative team and lead credit analysis, structuring, and portfolio oversight.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and manage CRE lending relationships with investors developers sponsors and business owners
- 2Analyze structure negotiate and manage CRE facilities including acquisition refinance construction development bridge and permanent financing
- 3Review financial statements tax returns appraisals rent rolls operating statements and market data to assess creditworthiness
- 4Prepare and present credit recommendations and loan structures for approval with limited oversight
- 5Coordinate with underwriting credit administration loan operations and third party professionals to facilitate timely closing funding and servicing
- 6Monitor portfolio performance annual reviews covenant compliance and risk rating maintenance
- 7Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships through deposits treasury management and related financial solutions
- 8Assist with construction lending administration including draw reviews status meetings and monitoring
- 9Provide guidance to junior staff and participate in market events to expand business development opportunities
- 10Maintain current knowledge of CRE lending practices market conditions regulatory requirements and CU policies
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor`s degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration Real Estate Economics or related field
- 24-7 years of CRE lending or related financial services experience
- 3Proven ability to originate underwrite structure and manage commercial lending relationships
- 4Experience analyzing borrower and guarantor financial statements tax returns and operating data
- 5Strong business development relationship management and portfolio growth capabilities
- 6Knowledge of CRE lending principles risk assessment and loan structuring
- 7Ability to analyze financial information identify risks and develop sound lending recommendations
- 8Experience presenting credit recommendations and negotiating loan terms
- 9Proficiency with Microsoft Office financial analysis tools loan origination systems and lending platforms
- 10Hybrid work readiness and in person presence in Phoenix area
