What You'll Do8

  • 1Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and supporting docs to assess creditworthiness for CRE and C&I lines.
  • 2Prepare credit presentations, loan summaries, and annual reviews with clear risk ratings and mitigants.
  • 3Evaluate cash flow, repayment capacity, and financial trends, flagging key risks for loan officers.
  • 4Partner with loan officers to gather data, structure credits, and support client relationships.
  • 5Join customer and prospect meetings to understand borrower needs and inform credit decisions.
  • 6Review peer credit work, offering constructive feedback to maintain portfolio quality.
  • 7Use Sageworks and similar platforms to streamline analysis and maintain data integrity.
  • 8Manage multiple deadlines, prioritizing tasks to deliver accurate work on time.

Requirements7

  • 13-5+ years of credit analysis experience in commercial lending at a bank or credit union.
  • 2Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
  • 3Proven ability to dissect complex financial statements, including business and personal tax returns.
  • 4Strong written communication skills to present credit risk and recommendations clearly.
  • 5Detail-oriented with organizational and time management skills to handle competing priorities.
  • 6Experience with Sageworks or similar credit analysis software preferred.
  • 7Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple deadlines.
