Lead credit analysis for a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate relationships. Support Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers in underwriting credit approvals and monitoring risk. Analyze borrower financials and property cash flows to maintain credit quality. Ensure compliance with bank policies and underwriting standards. Provide detailed financial insights and drive proactive risk mitigation strategies.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Manage relationship portfolios across multifamily office industrial retail data centers self storage hospitality and life science properties
  • 2Perform accurate spreading of borrower financial statements according to bank standards
  • 3Prepare quarterly trend analyses and covenant compliance testing
  • 4Maintain compliance databases tracking credit agreements and key metrics
  • 5Identify and communicate emerging risks at transaction and portfolio level
  • 6Analyze borrower financials property cash flows and market conditions for credit decisions
  • 7Support Portfolio Managers with credit requests and annual company-wide reviews
  • 8Execute straightforward credit requests for existing clients with limited supervision
  • 9Assist with new deal originations including refinancings and ground-up construction projects
  • 10Participate in client bank meetings to support underwriting and risk discussions
  • 11Act as first line of credit analysis and escalate appropriate issues

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2More than 6 months finance analytical experience
  • 3Background in commercial real estate finance accounting or economics
  • 4Experience with CRE cash flow modeling collateral valuation and covenant analysis
  • 5Ability to independently perform financial analyses for new requests and ongoing monitoring
  • 6Strong report writing and analytical technical skills
  • 7Effective verbal and written communication abilities
  • 8Familiarity with banking policies and CRE underwriting processes
  • 9Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • 10Experience with nCino and CoStar preferred
