What You'll Do8

  • 1Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and bank references to assess credit risk and recommend loan structures.
  • 2Prepare preliminary credit analyses and written reports for lenders, including loan presentations, modifications, and annual reviews.
  • 3Review loan files for completeness, ensuring collateral is secured and values meet Bank policy.
  • 4Support commercial lending officers in managing existing relationships and pursuing new loan opportunities.
  • 5Interact with customers to address inquiries and service requests, maintaining credit files.
  • 6Underwrite new loan requests and renewals, verifying compliance with SBA guidelines and bank procedures.
  • 7Build and maintain detailed spreadsheets and reports using Excel and Loan Vantage to track credit data.
  • 8Identify and escalate credit risks to senior lenders, recommending mitigation strategies.

Requirements9

  • 15+ years experience in commercial and industrial lending credit analysis, with loan exposures from $500K to $35M.
  • 2Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3Formal credit training and SBA underwriting experience preferred.
  • 4Experience with Loan Vantage preferred.
  • 5Strong knowledge of personal and business financial statements and tax returns.
  • 6Excellent analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • 7Superior customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • 8Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • 9Ability to multi-task, adapt to change, and build relationships across teams.
