Overview
Oversee glazing projects from estimate to closeout for commercial storefronts and curtain wall through completion. Own schedules, budgets, and field coordination with general contractors, vendors, and customers. Candidate will manage multiple projects with accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organization. This role stands out by combining estimating with hands-on project management in a field-driven environment.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build project scopes and takeoffs from plans and specs and prepare proposals and bids
- 2Design and track project schedules, budgets, and labor hours to ensure profitability and on-time delivery
- 3Coordinate procurement, fabrication, delivery, and installation of glazing materials
- 4Manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, and shop drawings to maintain contract compliance
- 5Drive communication with contractors, architects, suppliers, and customers to resolve field issues and achieve project closeout
Requirements5
- 13 years of glazing estimating or project management experience
- 2Knowledge of storefront, curtain wall, aluminum entrances, glass types, mirrors, and glazing hardware
- 3Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications
- 4Experience with takeoffs, proposals, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- 5Strong computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office; Bluebeam or Storefronts Online preferred
