Overview
We seek a skilled CNC Machinist to manufacture detailed parts from blueprints using computer-controlled machine tools. Responsibilities include setting up and operating mills lathes CNC machines and performing quality inspections. The role requires maintaining a clean safe environment and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Do8
- 1Set up operate and maintain CNC milling and turning centers according to complex blueprints
- 2Retrieve job-related information such as job routings part drawings and work instructions
- 3Select and utilize appropriate cutting tools and work holding for various materials
- 4Document manufactured quantities and all required processes using the ERP system
- 5Perform precise measurements and inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards
- 6Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize machining efficiency
- 7Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to all safety protocols
- 8Assist with developing new machining methods and tooling for complex parts
Requirements5
- 13+ years of Machinist experience
- 2High school degree or equivalent plus advanced training in ITAR compliance
- 3Excellent attention to detail
- 4Basic computer skills
- 5Strong teamwork and communication abilities
