Overview

Own hands-on CNC and manual machining to produce precision gears and components at scale. You will set up, operate, inspect, and document parts while adhering to ISO 9000 quality procedures. You will ensure traceability, maintain tooling readiness, and support continuous improvement. This role offers night shift, on-site work in Phoenix, and long-term growth in a structured manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and operate multiple CNC and manual machines to meet production schedules
  • 2Set up tooling offsets and basic program edits to achieve job specifications
  • 3Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and gear CMM equipment to verify part dimensions
  • 4Record inspection results in production and quality logs to maintain traceability
  • 5Replace cutting tools and inserts to sustain machining quality and efficiency
  • 6Maintain ISO 9000 compliant traceability records for all produced parts
  • 7Follow 5S principles to keep a clean organized work area
  • 8Adhere to safety requirements and SOPs during machining and inspection
  • 9Identify and report quality or production issues to supervisors for continuous improvement
  • 10Support basic maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools

Requirements10

  • 1Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC or similar machining equipment
  • 2Proficiency in operating CNC machines in a production environment
  • 3Experience machining precision components, preferably gear-related parts
  • 4Ability to perform machine setup changes including tooling changes and offset adjustments
  • 5Familiarity with blueprint reading and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • 6Experience working within ISO 9000 or similar quality management systems
  • 7Basic troubleshooting skills for machining processes
  • 8High school diploma or equivalent
  • 9Experience with manual machining such as lathe
  • 10Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on a fixed night shift
