Overview

Lead the setup operation and maintenance of CNC milling machines to produce precision parts for high-tech industries in a hands-on, onsite role. You will interpret blueprints and traveler instructions, inspect parts, and maintain production standards in a collaborative team. This role offers exposure to 3-axis through 5-axis milling and opportunities to contribute to process improvements. What You'll Do7

  • 1Build and operate 3-axis to 5-axis CNC mills to produce precision parts
  • 2Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
  • 3Read and follow traveler instructions and interpret blueprints GD&T
  • 4Measure document and maintain inspection data for self and peers
  • 5Maintain or improve established production standards
  • 6Complete discrepant tags and communicate issues with Engineering
  • 7Perform all machine setups and other functions as assigned

Requirements5

  • 1Proven experience operating 3-axis to 5-axis CNC mills
  • 2Strong blueprint reading skills and understanding of GD&T
  • 3Knowledge of shop mathematics and metal properties
  • 4Detail oriented with excellent organizational documentation skills
  • 5Ability to communicate effectively with team members and engineering
