CNC Machine Operator - Countertop Manufacturing
Overview
Lead CNC operations for granite and quartz countertop production at World Stone Group in Detroit. Manage equipment and ensure precision in stone fabrication.
What You'll Do8
- 1Operate and monitor CNC machines for cutting shaping and finishing stone countertops as per production drawings
- 2Read and interpret shop drawings measurements and production work orders
- 3Load and unload granite and quartz slabs safely
- 4Perform machine setup tooling changes and routine maintenance
- 5Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- 6Maintain a clean and organized work area
- 7Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies
- 8Work closely with fabrication and installation teams to meet production deadlines
Requirements6
- 1High school diploma or equivalent with technical training preferred
- 2Previous CNC operating experience in stone industry preferred
- 3Ability to read measurements and shop drawings accurately
- 4Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- 5Strong attention to detail and quality
- 6Dependent punctual and team-oriented attitude
Salary Insight
