CNC Laser Operator, Aerospace & Medical Manufacturing
Overview
CNC Laser Operator will own laser programming and material processing for diverse industries at scale. You will join a close knit team in Hillsboro and contribute to product quality across aerospace, medical, and PCB applications. This role offers on the job training, a family oriented environment, and opportunities for overtime. You will report to the production manager and collaborate with engineering and sales to meet technical specifications.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build laser processes and programs for customer parts and drive part quality throughout laser processing
- 2Design and implement process improvements to verify production part quality on the factory floor
- 3Lead cross functional collaboration with engineering and sales to ensure technical requirements are met
- 4Ship components to production schedules while maintaining safety and quality standards
- 5Own responses to machine alarms and maintain equipment uptime within shift constraints
- 6Scale laser operations to support multiple projects and customer timelines
Requirements9
- 1US citizen or permanent resident with unrestricted rights to work in US
- 2Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 3General machine shop skills including calipers micrometers and optical inspection
- 4Ability to read mechanical prints and interpret tolerances
- 5Ability to lift up to 50 lbs twist bend stoop and stand for long periods
- 6Ability to respond to machine alarms and distinguish colors
- 7Ability to thrive in a fast paced manufacturing environment and work independently or on a team
- 8Coordinate with engineering and sales to ensure specifications are met and help develop new processes
- 9High school diploma or GED; one or more years of related experience; technical Associates preferred
